The thought of anything back-to-school related makes me hold my breath a little bit to be honest. I felt the same way when I was teaching in the classroom. Now that I’m preparing for my best girl to go to preschool, it feels like I can’t hold onto to the days tight enough before she goes to school. But you know what? Cute outfits help. WAH!!!!!
But seriously, if you’re looking for something CUTE for your little girl’s first day of school, here are five dresses I’ve found that I love! I have bought 3/5 for her. Don’t judge. They are perfect for Fall activities too like apple picking! See, I just convinced you it’s ok to have a few of these in your girl’s closet, right? *wink*
- Zara Floral dress I think this dress is so precious. I can see it with sandals now, mary janes, and then boots when the weather turns! My girl has this dress in a similar shirt version and the fabric is SO.SOFT.
- Boden Apple Pinnie Set How precious is this? It’s classic and adorable! It’s perfect for the apple orchard or for preschool/daycare pictures on that first day!
- Eleanor Rose Alphabet Soup dress Dresses from Eleanor Rose always sell out so quickly! This dress is perfect for preschool/preK and would be great with a navy, yellow, or red bow!
- Carter’s Apple Jersey dress This dress is a personal favorite…the price point is lovely (currently on sale for $14!), it’s light weight, and it twirls. #winnerwinnerchickendinner. We will definitely be sporting this while apple picking this September and for back-to-school.
- Tea Collection Skirted dress I LOVE this dress! This was the first dress I bought when I was thinking about back-to-school pictures and activities. I love that it has a subtle apple print without being too kitschy. The print is very on-trend, and I love the pinky-peachy colors together…surprised?
